The new collection of "Chinese papers" is inspired by original wallpapers kept in the Wallcoverings Department of the COOPER HEWITT MUSEUM in NEW YORK. This collection takes up the iconographic elements typical of Chinese papers of the 18th and 19th centuries with their flowers (chrysanthemums, peonies, camellias, magnolias, orchids, morning glory...), insects (dragonflies, butterflies, flies, grasshoppers...), trees (bamboo in particular) and birds (pheasants, sparrows...).
